What does the evidence actually say?

Try “Is climate change real?”

We never tell you something is a fact

Science does not prove things true. It proposes ideas and then tries hard to break them. An idea that has survived a lot of testing is the best bet available — not a certainty. So every answer says where the evidence points, how much testing the idea has survived, and what is still argued about.

And every answer shows you how to check it yourself, for free, without taking anyone’s word for it — including ours.

We do not do research. We read it, and we name the people who did — the trials, the reviews, the statistics offices that publish their methods so a figure can be checked at all. Who we rely on.

How it pays for itself

Advertising, in a sidebar, permanently labelled. We say that plainly because it is what keeps this free to read and free to check — the answers cost real money to produce, and the ads are how that is paid for.

They are chosen and served by an ad network, not by us, and they touch nothing. No sponsored answers. No sponsored verdicts. No affiliate links. Nobody sees an answer before you do, and no advertiser has ever been given a say in one — because a site influenced by anything other than the evidence would not be worth reading, including to us.

The whole arrangement, and the instructions we give the AI, published in full.
